Avinash - Are you still encountering this issue? I'm sorry that this hasn't received a response yet. I just added this to the CA Privileged Identity Manager category.

    Hi Avi

i was having that issue , but with noticing the cpu and memory, i found that the cpu always 100% (it was 4 core, the java process was consuming a lot, but after upgrading by adding more (adding more 2 cores) the login process has improved , my server is in virtual environment  so it was easy to do the upgrade.

But i didn't  dig technical inside the jboss logs  to find out if there are any configuration to fasten the logging process.

    Regards

    Hi Avi,

    1. What release of PIM are you using?
    2. Is this a local user or is this user in a remote repository like AD?

Our advice would be to do a trace on the user login.

    SEOSD.TRACE:

    1. secons -tc -t+

(clears and then starts the trace)

    2. Reproduce the warning or denial message.

    3. secons -t-

        (stops the trace)

    4. seosd.trace will be located in /opt/CA/AccessControl/log

    Cheers,

    Eric

    Hi Avi,

Are you logging into the ENTM UI and face slow response there?

If so - are you using AD as your user store?

And if so - have you checked to see if your AD is configured to work with Global Catalog?

And so far so good - have you set the AD Global Catalog ports instead of the normal ports for the ac-env?

More than that - are you using SSL for the connection or non-SSL?

Do let us know the answers to the above so we can help you in getting this resolved.

    Regards,

    Amit.
