Hi folks! Got a pesky little issue that we're encountering that I hope I can get some guidance on...
What we're doing is we are update an ODF_CA database value via process/GEL script (update statement) upon creation of a new status report instance. I've verified that the process works and that the database column is being updated as designed.
When the user clicks "Save and Return", and then re-launches the newly - created status report from the status report list, the database value appears as designed.
However, when the user simply clicks "Save", and is returned to the Status Report instance they just created, the user needs to either click the refresh icon or make additional updates and re-save in order for the updated attribute value to appear.
I tried making it a transaction on the db side and that had not effect.
Obviously not a show stopper, as the work around is fairly straight forward, but would be nice if there was an easy way to address this either on the Clarity process side or the DB side.
We're running v13.2 on-premise against SQL Server 2008 R2.
Any and all ideas are welcome.
