February 12, 2015    7:11:19 AM    from Roger Morse (CA) to All Participants:@Everyone -- CA Service Management 14.1 has been GA for nearly 3 months.  Has anyone done a non-production installation?  Or, better yet, but 14.1 into your production environment?

February 12, 2015    7:16:25 AM    from James Mascaro to All Participants:I have a question about the KPI Ticket Data table. I have enabled the KPI daemon and data is being collected; however the ktd_duration field is empty and I don't know why, any ideas how to proceed?

February 12, 2015    7:19:47 AM    from Lindsay Estabrooks to All Participants:Is there much difference to implementing mobility for r12.9 vs r14.1?

February 12, 2015    7:22:43 AM    from Rajeev Kumar (CA) to All Participants:@Stephanie - Could you please elaborate on 'testing document' ?

February 12, 2015    7:22:53 AM    from Roger Morse (CA) to All Participants:@James, we are still discussing your question, thanks for your patience

February 12, 2015    7:23:55 AM    from Adesh Siddhu to All Participants:Can we upgrade Service Desk directly to 14.1 from 12.7?

February 12, 2015    7:24:25 AM    from Rajeev Kumar (CA) to All Participants:@Stephanie - on CACF, you can find adequate documentation at - https://wiki.ca.com/display/CASM1401/

February 12, 2015    7:25:32 AM    from Rajeev Kumar (CA) to All Participants:@Sidhhu - Yes. Is there any specific aspect that you are concerned about?

February 12, 2015    7:25:38 AM    from Roger Morse (CA) to All Participants:@Stephanie, on the wiki link Rajeev just sent you, just search for "cacf" and it will show a list of topics.  Hope that is helpful.

February 12, 2015    7:26:51 AM    from Lindsay Estabrooks to All Participants:@Avneesh, Thanks. For mobility coming through a firewall is it just the port for REST that has to be opened?

February 12, 2015    7:27:02 AM    from James Mascaro to All Participants:@Derek - I am using 12.9, I will do that, thanks!

February 12, 2015    7:27:04 AM    from Rajeev Kumar (CA) to All Participants:@Stephanie - SDM 14.1 does not have a lot of 'core' changes. That being said, if you have a testing document that covers existing business processes supported by SDM, then that should be good enough.

February 12, 2015    7:27:34 AM    from Adesh Siddhu to All Participants:Sorry I got disconnected for a second and do not have the thread any more. So to repeat - can we upgrade Service Desk directly to 14.1 from 12.7?

February 12, 2015    7:27:57 AM    from Rajeev Kumar (CA) to All Participants:@Sidhhu - Yes. Is there any specific aspect that you are concerned about?

February 12, 2015    7:28:40 AM    from Adesh Siddhu to All Participants:@Rajeev - No - that was a general question to make sure we were not going to skip a  needed step.

February 12, 2015    7:29:26 AM    from Rajeev Kumar (CA) to All Participants:@Siddhu - Cool. Happy upgrading !

February 12, 2015    7:30:16 AM    from Adesh Siddhu to All Participants:We installed CA Catalog on Service Desk 14.1 in a test environment. Does not work. Saw a document saying you need ITPAM in order for Catalog to work with SD. Is that true?

February 12, 2015    7:30:22 AM    from Roger Morse (CA) to All Participants:@Stephanie, the wiki does not have page numbers.  If you are looking in older release documentation, it depends on which PDF file.

February 12, 2015    7:31:47 AM    from Rajeev Kumar (CA) to All Participants:@Stephanie - Please refer to this link @Wiki - https://wiki.ca.com/display/CASM1401/Configuration+Audit+and+Control+Facility. Note that Online Wiki has documentation content relating to 14.1 release of CA Service Management products.

February 12, 2015    7:31:59 AM    from Lindsay Estabrooks to All Participants:@Avneesh, thanks again. Can mobility also be configured for https?

February 12, 2015    7:33:19 AM    from Rajeev Kumar (CA) to All Participants:@Siddhu - on Service Catalog and SDM question, what was the exact issue when you say it did not work ?

February 12, 2015    7:36:29 AM    from Adesh Siddhu to All Participants:@Rajeev - the built in items e.g. request a new share - do not interact with SD. Did we miss something?

February 12, 2015    7:41:29 AM    from Rajeev Kumar (CA) to All Participants:@Siddhu - With 14.1, which is a more cohesive solution, the installer tries to integrate components (SDM, Service Catalog, and PAM) behind the scene. There are pieces in out-of-the-box content that uses PAM, and that's why you might have seen the error. I would suggest connecting offline with CA Support or me to progress this further.

February 12, 2015    7:42:41 AM    from Chris Hackett (CA) to All Participants:We're wrapping up everyone. Any quick questions?
