I have followed the documentation for configuring HTTPS/SSO access for CAPC and now when I try to access https://hostname.domain:8381 i get the following error in FireFox:

An error occurred during a connection to performancecenter.sonic.com:8381. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length. (Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long)

From all the postings on this site seems no one get the https working the first with CAPC.

I have it working, but it's a pain.... remember that in addition to CAPC, you have to configure the SSO portion for SSL as well. When I get back to my desk on Monday I can give you the complete breakdown of all the steps.

Believe me it is a pain. Even if you are following the SSO Guide for CAPC 2.4.1.  So I take it the steps you followed are not in the user guide?  I appreciate your help as now I have  a CAPC I can't log in to and security requires us to use https on CAPC
