    Description:

    When setting up the CA Spectrum 9.4 and CA Nimsoft 7.6 integration, there is a requirement for a Nimsoft nisrest probe as can be seen in the Spectrum documentation as a prerequisite:

    • The snmpgtw, cdm, net_connect, nisrest probes must be deployed and configured before integrating CA Nimsoft and CA Spectrum through the Web Server.

    When installing Nimsoft 7.6, the nisrest probe is not installed. Therefore when the CA Spectrum integration tries to authenticate with the nisrest probe it fails.
