    Can some1 please share the integration guide for SD and spectrum for the above said version. Also, it would be helpful if any1 can jot down the

    steps for integrating both.

    Open Oneclick Admin page -> CA Spectrum documentation and you have all the docs here. Alternate path for new versions is wiki.ca.com where you need to provide your support credentials to login.

    HI Kalyan,

     

    I have found the guide. However I would need to your help since we are using r12.5 which is running on  windows 2008 standard edition and spectrum is on 2003. I couldn't find the integration components for the same. Could you please share the link for the same?

    Manish,

     

    You can still use win 2003 components on 2008. Are you having issues running the oc components? Also 9.2 is going end of support from April 1st , 2015. Suggest to upgrade your Spectrum to 9.4.2.1 ASAP.

    Hi Kalyan,

     

    I did run the oc components and below are the contents of the cfg file, kindly let me know if it seems fine:

     

    server=SPxxxx-xxI

    port=80

    path=spectrum

    user=Administrator

    password=YxxxxxMjM=

    logging=no

    SSL=no

    JRE_HOME=C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_40

    close=

    transfer=

     

    Once this was done, I followed below procedures from the guide:

    1.) Create a CA Spectrum Contact on the CA Service Desk Server

    2.) Create a CA Service Desk Ticket Template on the CA Service Desk Server

    3.) Create a CA Service Desk Web Services Policy and Problem Type for CA Spectrum

     

    Once above steps were done, I found issues while following below steps:

     

    1.) Configure Communication and Enable Integration on the CA Spectrum OneClick Server

            Service Desk Server Name: Entered the hostname of the sevice desk server

            Service Desk Server Port: Entered the port number found in the server.xml file(non-SSL HTTP/1.1 connector port)

            Service Desk Web Server Port: Entered the IIS port number.

            Service Desk Admin Username: SD admin user

            Service Desk Admin Password: SD passwd.

     

    When clicked on TEST, it throws below error:


    Unable to connect to Service Desk web service: invalid port 8080 for server <server-name comes here>.

     

     

    Kindly help me troubleshoot this issue.

    The error shows that the service desk web server ports are not responding.

               Service Desk Server Port:

            Service Desk Web Server Port:

     

    These ports are related to the service desk tomcat service. Were you able to open the service desk web console using the ports mentioned in above fields from spectroserver?
