Hi,

I am going to migrate data from SUN ONE to CA directory.

I heard someone can uses a conversion tool comes with CA directory

to convert 99user.ldif (schema from SUNONE) to CA schema and import it to the CA directory.

And then they can just export ldif users and import to CA directory without coding and scripting.

Can anyone confirm with me if there are such tools?

And what's the name of the tools.

and documentation links to those tools.

I would like to investigate.

Hello,

Yes, the tools are in the dxserver/bin folder.

There are really two to be aware of:

dxschemaldif - this extracts the schema from your ldap directory to an ldif format.

Example: dxschemaldif  -v sun-ldap-server:389 > sunschema.ldif

You then use ldif2dxc to convert this ldif file to a .dxc format used by CA Directory.
