The above query was just a sample which you could use to format yours. Please paste your query here and I can take a look at this.
Multivalued lookups returns value by "," Separated, you can use a function which converts the "," separated values in to a table(Rows) and use that in "In" clause.
If you are not using group by,
You can try below steps
1. Call that attribute as column in Select
2. Attach required lookup to nsql attribute
3. Add that attribute to filter layout
4. Change the attribute view available in filter tab to multi-select.
I have tried it in my environment and it worked.
Works for me, too.
Eg. if I need to have multiselect filter for project manager:
Among other columns select manager_id
In the query attributes associate it with User Browse lookup.
After adding it to filter layout in filter fields select Multiselect.
