how to remotely connect to the hub using the Nimbus API

I am trying to simply connect to the hub server with a little bit of code from the example in the API documentation.  I am using powershell, but could just as well use vb.net.

I am trying to run this from my workstation, and I have the infrastructure manager installed.  I am also an admin in Nimbus

Powershell code:

---------------------------------

[

Reflection.Assembly]::LoadFile("C:\TEMP\ProbeFinder\ProbeIterator\NimbusAPI.dll")

$contSession =

New-Object Nimsoft.NimBUS.messaging.NimbusSession("MN4S21032",48000)

$contsession.Login("myadminaccount","password",$false)

In the above example, everything is fine, until I call the .login.  At that point I get the following error:

Exception calling "Login" with "3" argument(s): "Failed to log in. Check user name and password."

At C:\TEMP\ProbeFinder\ProbeIterator\t.ps1:4 char:19

+ $contSession.Login <<<< ("ccarvell","Jeriann18",$false)

+ CategoryInfo : NotSpecified: (:smileyhappy: [], MethodInvocationException

+ FullyQualifiedErrorId : DotNetMethodException"

I know that the username and password are correct, as I can launch the Infrastructure tool and use that to login to it.

BTW I also tried similiar code in vb.net, same error

Any hints or suggestions?
