Querying for primary hub

I am writing a probe which will compare the client's time to its primary hub.

In Perl or Lua, how can I pragmatically determine which hub is primary for the local robot?

I know I can get this by doing a get_info against the controller, but that assumes I know the local robot's address. The only way I've found to do this so far is to do a nimFindAsTable using the local hostname. The downside to this is I image it will create excess load if I have thousands of hosts doing this query every five minutes.

Any ideas?
