We have the SQL probe deployed to a few servers. I enabled some checkpoints which results in mutltiple alarms being generated (some info and some major) based on the SQL query results returned to the probes. We have Nimsoft setup to automatically create tickets for major alarms and above. But some of these SQL checkpoints are 'information' and do not indicate a problem, e.g. information on connected users.
I can see we could set the Generate Status Only option but does that mean we don't then get any alarms for more critical events?
Or should we amend the thresholds for the small number of checkpoints we have a problem with?
