Dashboard Designer - how to change an image based upon QoS

This is a problem that’s driving me nuts.

Ok, so I’ve got a dash that shows the usual round alarm symbol which is checking a server’s status by monitoring the alarm console for alerts.  All good.  However, I want to be able to have an image appear (or change from a background-coloured image to something visible) next to that alarm circle when a change in a particular QoS value is detected.  However, as there are only a few items that support QoS reading (text, sliders, LED’s etc) I cannot get what I want to work.  Yes, I could manipulate a slider to a certain degree, but the result is not great and I’ve experienced the dash ‘struggling’ to cope when you’ve over forty sliders on it!

Any ideas or is it never going to happen?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Lee
