With NoD instances it is not possible to get access to the DB so what are people doing for creating te Top 10 type views.
Are people requestion NoD operations to run the query or doing anything else?
Thanks for any ideas
You can take the main body of the script, between the two Go statments and paste it into the SLM SQL Query tool and run it from there. I have done so several times. I have attached the latest rendition in case you don't have it. I had to include some additional manipulation of the QoS name to make valid view names as we had started including more special characters in the QoS names like %.
The method Jim cited is what I've used in the past for modifying the NimsoftSLM, however, did you know the S_QOS_DATA table has the "samplevalue" field actually updated for NoD instances so you don't need to run the views query?
The NoD team used a bit of a Data_Engine hack to expose the value which is blank by default, so technically, for NoD instances you can just use the old query we used to use with the RD_QOS_DATA table.
The above aside, I haven't had to do use tables in the Dashboard Designer since the List Views were added - they provide almost identical information with the exception that they have no limiters which dev is promising to implement by next Q.
