  • 1.  Viewing Single Dashboard in a Web Portlet within UMP

    Posted Aug 28, 2010 12:53 AM

Just figured out how to do this, and if you're wondering about this as well ... Here are some steps that you can take to build this out:

    1. Log into UMP

    2. Create a new TAB

    3. Within the new TAB specify your Layout and add the Custom Dashboard application

    4. Click the ellipsis (...) on the portlet title bar.
    5. Click the Preferences menu item.

    6. Enter the Dashboard name and click Save. ( i.e. Critical Services )
    7. Click the Return to Full Page link.

Let me know if there are any quesitons.

    Best,

Nice! Does anyone know how to get something like the dynamic interface traffic table in the dynamic views portlet into a single dashboard?

Right off hand, I would say you would use the List Designer/Viewer to replicate it. As far as I know, there is no way of referencing it.

It seems like it is a table widget, but without the limitations of records/bytes retrieved that the dashboard table widget has.

    Gennady,

Great post, I actually recommend solutions like these be posted in the forums for public consumption, also, you should provide a link to your Nimsoft Newsletter since those are very often overlooked.

    Thanks for sharing,

This works for the QOSchart as well.
