I have a question, I wanted to show all blocked sessions in my database, the Nimsoft is possible to do this? following example attached
Possibly using the jdbc_response or sql_response. Depending on where you are doing the query from.
Not sure if you can list them all and trigger an alarm containing the list. But at least you should be able to count them and trigger alarm if > 0.
Otherwise I guess running a small custom script with logmon would work.
But in a dashboard can display all rows? or it will burn the qos only 1 row?
If your query returns multiple rows than a dashboard table object should display all rows, or at least it used to I have not used the table object on a sql query for a while.
Are you quering the nimsoft database or is this an external database cause if it the nimsoft database then you just query the nis db connection in dap. Otherwise add the connection to the dap probe and you will probably need to restart the dap,dasboard_engine, and wasp once your connection is setup in the dap probe.
You are going to have to use the dap probe then to be able to access the database from a dashboard.
I'll try, thank you!
