I think I've only gotten these when doing upgrades, or when I've done
    failovers on the database cluster.

Do you have any information when it comes to your database? Is it
clustered? Located network wise compared to data_engine?

What version of data_engine are you using?

We get these every night when the sql db is being backed up, I just put an exclusion info the backup time.

Could it be that the backup process is putting too much strain on the
database? Maxing IO, bandwidth, or something? And it causes data_engine
    to freak out a bit?

That is my guess as it's only a few minutes that nimsoft has the issue.  Maybe that there is some type of lock on the table/s as well.

Did someone perhaps make a script or something at that time to collect data from the database? Or to generate some report or something.

So how do we disable these alerts or Reduce the Severity of this kind of Alarms. Can't see any option in data_engine probes to modify.

anyone done anything like this ?

    Thanks

These alarms cannot be disabled, but you can reduce the severity of the second alarm as explained in the Knowledge Document:  KB000034364 : What is the Meaning of the alarm: Insert bulk failed due to a schema change of the target table.  It may be necessary to reduce the severity of the first alarm through a nas Auto-Operator Pre-Processing Rule as explained in the Knowledge Document: KB000034685 : Lower severity of an alarm using preprocessing rule
