I would like to be able to set up a NAS and EMAILGTW for each hub that we have. Would an implementation like this be possible?
The emailgtw probes would be completely independent. They should not see each other or interact in any way. You would want to pay attention to the routing of the EMAIL messages on the message bus to make sure they are not received by more than one emailgtw.
The nas probes would be independent by default, but you can configure replication between them--bidirectional or unidirectional.
I have configured two emailgtw probe in our environment.
primary emailgtw : it is in NOD envioronment . so all secondary hubs are connectviting to this primary to send emails and also insert database.
Secondary emailgtw : i have configured seperate NAS and emailgtw probe in one of our sendary hub ( relay server). Alerts and QOS are sending to priamay hub (where primary emailgtw configured) also to insert the alarms and QOS to database. but i have not created any profile rule in priary emilgtw probe.
I have created profile rule in secondary emailgtw probe and am receiving emails also.
But issue is, am receiving two email ( my guess is , am receiving email from both emailgtw probe). but i have not understood, why i am receving emails from primary emailgtw probe , eventhough i have not created rule in primary NAS.
My concerns here is, i need to receive only dedicated customers emails from secondary emailgtw probe not from primary emailgtw probe.
and alarms and QOS needs to be inserted to the database from primary hub only.
I have tried to create pre-processing rule in primary hub to exlude alarms which is coming from dedicate customers secondary hub but it it not working.
So could you please help me here, how i can achive this request? also how NAS and emailgtw probe will connect means, is NAS probe is going to discover emailgtw probe in the instance and send the alarms to emailgtw probe to send emails.? or have we specified any emailgtw probe path in NAS probe?.
