I'm wondering if anyone has encountered this problem: we spun up a server on a CentOS box to report on our existing prod hubs, and I'm trying to send messages to an external email address outside of our environment... it looks like whether or not I check ignore TLS on smtp.gmail.com, the probe still tries authenticate using TLS and subsequently fails.

    1) How does the emailgtw use TLS?  I'm not sure if it uses its own email server or if it channels postfix / sendmail on the centos install.

    2) I have turned iptables off, so there should be no interference from a firewall perspective.

    3) The emailgtw can connect to our internal exchange server, but since we want to route to an external email address we still want to use gmail.

I've also attached the emailgtw log.  If anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Devin

This morning I tried using my normal gmail address to no avail as well.

Also this is entirely functional on our production emailgtw, which is running Windows Server as opposed to CentOS which is why I'm wondering if this may be a Postfix/sendmail issue...
