I'm attempting to create a custom dashboard using Dashboard Designer but it continously freezes up and ends up crashing due to flash. Anyone else have in issue with Flash when trying to create custom dashboards?
I'm running UMP Version = 2.6.1.
The only thing I found in the UMP 2.6.1 release notes is that it does not support 64bit flash which I am not using.
I would like to be able to build a custom dashboard to show cpu, memory and disk usage for certain servers.
Under Unified Dashboards there is a Current Server Performance but only shows the Top 20, I'd like to be able to make one similar with only the server I need or if possible edit this one.
If you want to use list views take the current server performance and save it with a different name you can then change the filter for the view to show what you want to show. If that gets you what you want.
How can I save the current server performance?
Im running Firefox.
In ListDesigner I can open the current server performance dashboard and can Save As. I'll try this to see if I can edit the filters to show only the servers I want.
Were you able to fix your performance issues? My desktop has 16GB of RAM, Raptor HDD, and a pretty fast Core2Duo CPU. Does this thing seriously need something beefier than this to run smoothly. I've burned an entire afternoon on this and gotten no where due to lag, freezes, crashes and being logged out before I saved my progress. WTF.
Do you get any error messages or does it just freeze? When you close down the browser and open it again (without restarting the UMP), does it work? Is it immediate, or does it happen after a period of use? Does any other part of the UMP freeze?
So far, it sounds to me (based off a limited understanding) as though it's not server side, but on your desktop. See if you get the same issues with a different browser, or update/reinstall flash.
