Has anyone tried to install Nimsoft 5.61 on SQL server 2012?
We haven't tried this yet, but hope to later this year.

Just tried. Nimsoft NMS doesn't seem to have an issue, but we have UMP also. UMP seems to use jdbc to connect to sql and the java version that is installed with UMP is not functional with SQL Server 2012 it appears. I'm not sure how to make the app uses Microsoft's jdbc that is compatible with SQL Server 2012. I asked support when it was going to be supported and they don't know yet. SQL Server 2012 came out almost a year ago.
I tried installing NMS with SQL 2012 earlier on, but I can't remember the exact NMS version. There were some errors during the installation and some probes didn't work properly, but they might've been some that were introduced in 6.0..
