In what searching I found, I can't find an answer, but does anyone know if adding multiple subsytem ID's to a message for a probe/profile is possible?
I cannot say for sure, but I have always been under the impression that each alarm can have only one subsystem ID. That is pretty much the case for every field in the alarms--hub, robot, probe, origin, etc. The only alarm fields for which I see anyone reference multiple concurrent values are the user tags, and even those are technically just one tag to the NAS even though you can apply logic to look for substrings.
The NAS does not seem to do much enforcement of values in fields, including the subsystem ID. So if we apply the logic used with user tags, it may be technically possibe to put multiple subsystem IDs into the field. The NAS would definitely not translate those subsystem IDs into multiple subsystems though. The probes might not let you put multiple subsystem IDs into the field, so then it would take more hacking to get them in there.
I do believe that works! It seems I can really put anything I want in that field and it will show in the alarm, thus I can probably report or search off it.
