  • 1.  Nimsoft SLM database migration from SQL Server to MySQL

    Has anyone migrated an existing (90 days worth of QOS, 80GB) Microsoft SQL Server hosted Nimsoft database to a MySQL hosted database?

     

    Are there existing conversion tools available to do this?

     

    I opened a support ticket with Nimsoft and was told this is not something they do.

    Hi Michael, I haven't done anything like this but we will be doing the database migration from MS-SQL server 2008 to another instance. Though this is not exactly same as the one you will be performing, however I would be interested in the sequence of steps you will perform from Nimsoft point of view before, during and after the migration. If it's OK with you, can you please share the steps for the same. It will help a lot to us. Regards, Amit Saxena
