We're running down a process with SLA calculations where we have a particular issue. For example we may have a URL monitor checking site www.abc.com. This site runs the URL check 1,000 times per day and let's say failed 5 times at random points during the day.
The situation are management is asking us to handle is if the check fails on a one-off time, where maybe the application wasn't down but it just simply didn't complete the request on that check, that it be excluded from the SLE. Or not included unless the outage is over a certain time period, lets say like 10 minutes of not being able to connect to the URL.
Is this something that can be done in the Service Level Manager SLA definitions?
