I am monitoring performance objects that do not always exist. MSMQ queue objects get recovered by the system if there is no new data being written the queue and it is causing unwanted alarms. Within the NTPerf probe, I have defined monitors for my desired performance objects but do not want alarms to be generated when the object do not exist (aka Not Found messages).
I have gone into the Raw Config and removed the key "not_found_message_name" for each of the defined watchers but upoen restart the probes appears to default to a message because a Not Found alarm generates in the console.
Any thoughts on how to override this?
