As i configured my emailgtw probe. then how can i see that the email alert went for a perticular alarm as per configuration or not?
I don't think there's a good way in Nimsoft to do this. Maybe if you crank up the log levels high enough and retain them long enough, you can find them.
Here are some of the things I've done when I've had to examine these:
1. Look at emailgtw log files
2. Look at NAS AO transaction history to see if the rule was triggered at the appropriate time. This can be difficult and it's hard to be sure, as you pretty much have to rely on timestamps. and of course, you can't be sure that the email actually worked
3. Send the emails to a secondary box as well and keep an eye on them.
4. Have a look at your SMTP gateway logs
