Archived attachments

Once a ticket is archived and purged, along with the attachments being archived and purged, how can I get the attachment status to go back to Installed once I restore the ticket and the attachment using pdm_load from the archive file?  Once the attachment is archived, the status of the attachment is 'Archived'.  When I load the ticket back in using pdm_load, and click on the attachment to view it, it pops up a message that only attachments with a status of Installed can be viewed.  Is there a way to change the status of the attachment to be back to installed?
