The CA IDMS product team is interested in feedback from the user community regarding security in Web services architectures. In our first iteration of CA IDMS Web services we will provide HTTP Basic authentication (Base64). However, we would like to gain an understanding around level of importance related to the below mentioned security types in both a Consumer (CA IDMS outbound call access Web Services running anywhere in your app architecture) and Provider (external Web services from any platform to make an inbound call to CA IDMS) scenario.
Please rank in level of importance the following methods along with any comments / concerns / suggestions you may have.
- Secure Socket Layer (SSL)
Your feedback is an invaluable source in helping shape the future of CA IDMS solutions. Thanks in advance for your participation.
