I'm new to the Lisa -TIBCO RV step .There is an drop down for client Mode with the options of -Native Client and Java Client.
What does this signify? Any help regarding this would be appreciated .Thanks in advance!
The TIBCO RV client library provides two "implementations". The Native
implementation is full-featured but requires a native library (a .DLL on
Windows). The Java implementation is pure Java and does not require a
.DLL. However, as far as I can tell the pure Java implementation does
not actually produce any network traffic. It can only communicate
between clients running within the same JVM, making it pretty much
useless for anything except API-checking LISA's own client code.
Note that there's precious little documentation on what the actual
intended difference is between the Native and Java implementations.
This is just my observation.
