We are running TSS 1.15 with 3DES encryption. I need to know whether 3DES is using triple or double key

    Hi Ronnie,

The Top Secret release is 15.0, not 1.15

Thanks. Never used the communities before and while I was there, thought I would give it a shot. Little did I know it would be coming back to you.

I didn’t mean to cause you double work.

    Have a great weekend

    Hi Ronnie,

From experience, if people are asking you about the strength of DES, no matter what answer you give them, they will come back and say it is weak.

I suggest you save yourself time and grief by converting your database to AES 128.  The auditors should leave you alone after that.
