    What i want to do: put the registry on one server, and put the VSE on a different server.

     

    I've been looking through the documentation and I understand how to specify the auto-connect in the local.properties file to make the workstation look for a registry on a different server than where the workstation is hosted.

     

    However it isn't clear for 8.0.1 how I am to configure the registry to do this. I've gone into the dashboard but it doesn't let me edit any of the settings. I can see that there is an add new function, but it seems to only apply for legacy registries.

     

    Is there a way to specify in the local.properties file the URL of the VSE?
