Hi all
Is NFA capable to monitor different applications like Twitter, Facebook or YouTube through thet protocols they are using?
I could see the protocol https or any protocol that travels trough the interfaces, but can I identify this applications using NFA? If this is possible, I could set thresholds if some of these applications use more bandwidth than the threshold set?
Thanks
You should be able to do it with Flexible Netflow.

Refer to below link to create NBAR application mapping rules.

Thanks so much Satyanarayana, but in my case, I need to work with Alcatel Routers, if I'm not wrong, NBAR2 is only for Cisco.
I reallya ppreciate your help.
Somebody have another ideas?
Being that NBAR2 would not be an option without using Cisco devices, you could create custom application mappings if you know the IP's/Subnets of these social network sites. NBAR2 would be more ideal, but this is one way to approach it.
Thanks so much Cristopher, I will try your reccomendation.
Regards.
You can refer to below Cisco link to get more details about NBAR2 configuration:
