CA Privileged Identity Manager Tuesday Tip by Jinsoo Park, Support Engineer for 04/28/2015

[Environment]

PIM 12.8

I am attaching a sample vbs script for Filezilla login application.

In order to use a Filezilla login application, we need to verify the full path of Filezilla execution file(filezilla.exe)

I added script to search filezilla execution path in my attaching vbs script.

[How to use vbs script]

1. Apply the vbs script, and run it on SAM

2. Select filezilla execution path

Note that it will automatically save the selected filezilla execution path in the registry.

Note that If the filezilla.exe path has been already registered in the registry, the vbs script will read the path and run the Filezilla application without any selction window.

Note : when you run this script, the privileged account and password will be displayed on Command Line column of task manager.

Hopefully this may help you.

Thank you

Jinsoo
