  • 1.  Does agent gets confused in updating log files ?

    Am updating my PBD file. But Autoprobe.log and Introscope.log are not updating.

     

    Instead there is one more set of files having similar names only with different numbers in names at last and they are getting updated with my changes.

     

    I even changed the path of logs in profile file and set that to exact path instead of ../../logs-------.  Still no success. Am getting confused.

    It sounds like you are seeing auto-renaming of log files not working so a timestamp remains suffixed to the log files instead of the automatic agent name being suffixed when it is available from the AppServer. Here are some relevant sections of the 9.7 wiki on that subject:
