SHA-2 support in SDM 14.1

Question asked by Ashfaquddin on May 6, 2015

Hello Everyone,

Our client has SDM 12.7. Their security requirement demands a SHA-2 certificates. SDM 12.7 does not support SHA-2 certificates and for 12.9 I have read the following:

TEC616739

SHA-256 is a 256-bit hash and is meant to provide 128 bits of security against collision attacks.

CA SDM 12.9 with Embedded Entitlements Manager (EEM) 12.5 and CAPKI 4.3.0 supports SHA-256 encryption.

Question: Does SDM 14.1 support SHA-2? Does it support it with or without EEM?

Regards,

Ash.
