    Has anyone ever seen this error when trying to add a CA user directory to IDM from the management gui? I have added and configured schema.

     

    Update: Issue resolved. When adding an LDAP directory to the Identity Manager through the management console, the IDM needs to be able to write to the Oracle or SQL database (depending on which is configured). I had created a separate database in SQL for the IDM. There were no permissions defined, and as such, needed to add permissions
