CABI 4.1, Universe Refresh Structure

    Hi Team,

    I installed CABI 4.1 of the Service Desk 14.1 DVD and created a derived universe, all tables were imported and some tests did show, that the connection to CA Service Desk is OK.
    In SDM I definde new local attributes and added attribute aliases.  To import them I did a Refresh Structure, but no new attributes or attribute aliases are added to the tables. The Refresh gives the message "no update needeed", what's wrong. I can't find any Error Messages.

    Has somebody an idea why it does not work?

    Baerbel,

     

    This should work.

     

    In Designer, maybe you could verify this?

     

    1)    Highlight the table in question (ex:  cr)    the title bar of that table now becomes blue

     

    2)    There’s a scroll bar that should appear now

     

    3)    Scroll down/up and see if the attribute alias shows up now?

     

    Is your universe using connect to the SDM server as the server where attribute aliases were created?  Or is it using an offline reporting instance of SDM?
