Incident 2: Product Defect - UNABLE TO CREATE ATTACHMENTS VIA WEB SERVICES

 

After the installation of the resolution to STAR problem USRD 3071, users may be unable to create attachments via the web services methods createAttachment and createAttmnt.

 

 

Steps to reproduce:

 

  1. Using web services, log in to Service Desk Manager to obtain a
    session id.
  2. With the session id, call the createAttachment method using an
    existing ticket, such as an Incident.

 

Results:
You may observe the following error message is returned via web services:

"AHD03320:Bad parameter. Parameter is invalid:persistent_id"

 

Correction:

USRD 3237 - UNABLE TO CREATE ATTACHMENTS VIA WEB SERVICES
