  • 1.  Nimsoft probes support on RHEL  7?

    Posted May 19, 2015 04:50 AM

    Hi,

Are the nimsoft probes supported on Red Hat 7? Anyone have tried them on this OS?

Checking in the support matrix https://support.nimsoft.com/downloads/doc/Platform_Support_Availability_current.pdf only appears RHEL 6.

    Thanks,

    Juanjo

    Hi Juanjo,

Since Robot 7.62 most common probes are supported on rhel 7: cdm, processes, logmon, rsp..

UIM and UMP can also be installed on rhel7 since 8.2

On the support matrix you should see it under "RHEL 7"

    Thanks,

    Marco

We have been running some robots on RHEL7 for a while. If I remember correct, the only probe we've had some issues with was dhcp_response (or maybe it was dns_response). We've mainly used core probes like cdm, processes and logmon though.
