This specific project has been marked as Inactive. All timesheet progression jobs are completed but the Actual Labor Hours are still missing.
Any idea what is missed out?
Hi NJ and Urmas,
thank you for your advise. It worked!
We have activated back the project and post timesheet again and timesheet progression jobs managed to get the actual labor hours back into the Project.
In conclusion to this, we will have to try to make sure all timesheet hours are progressed before we can inactivate a project.
Was the project made inactive or the financially closed before the hours were posted ?
the project was made inactive on 14th May. The timesheet was submitted for approval on 13th May but post to WIP on 18th May. Will it make a difference?
Yes, it would, I think
The project was made inactive on 14th May - when was the timesheet posted ?
Also, have you tried running the Investment Allocation and Update Aggregated Data jobs (guess, you will have to reactivate the project before running those) ?
Yes the dates make a difference.
See if the timesheets are posted.
If not reactivate the project and post the timesheets
If the timesheets are posted, see if the transactions are in the Invalid Transactions with an error code.
Timesheet was posted on 13th May, however our Post Timesheet job are only scheduled to run on every Sat which is 16th May.
About your suggestion to reactivate back the investment, what other job do I have to ran beside the Investment Allocation and Update Aggregated Data jobs? Do I have to run all the post timesheets jobs again?
Can you try as urmas has suggested ?
Will wait for the scheduled timesheet to run over the weekend to verify if activating back the project and posting the timesheet again works.
Will keep you inform. Thank you in advance.
Welcome, it should work
If you come across issues like this - actual hours and cost missing, try using the query I had given you last time. If the project shows up in the query results, then its confirmed that the actuals have not moved to the WIP table and is stuck in the timesheet table.
Yes, Jerin. Thank you.
The reactivation and posting helps to resolve this issue. Will take note of using your script in future..
