Customer was asking if there are any time limitation on a temporary generated password and so if it may expire prior to the user using it.

A temp password is just like any other password. Meaning , it must conform with same password policies composition rules and all other rules. So the answer to your question basically is that the only thing ‘special’ about a temp password is that when set then the user is also immediately set to be required to change that password to a permanent one at the next login. So, basically the answer is: “No. The temp password doesn’t expire or anything like that. It will remain the password for the user until their next login event where they will be required to change the password and their status will then change back to ‘active’ so that they won’t be required to change it again”.
