I have already seen similar problem when there is a mix of ITCM version on an Agent.
Example :
ITCM Basic Agent and SD Agent have version 12.5 SP1 C1
and AM Agent has version 12.5 SP1
Check with dsmver command and version of files in DSM\bin directory that all Agent plugins have the same version.
