  • 1.  Database connectivity with the CA ITAM

    Hi All,

I am working on CA ITAM 12.9 and its database was connected to another server . The MSSQL on that server uninstalled accidentally, but now it is installed again with same credentials. Can ITAM again connected to that database.

    Any idea upon this issue?

    Thanks,

    Hello Vinay,

The database connection details, along with the connection details to EEM, ITPAM, etc. are all stored in database tables.

If MSSQL was uninstalled, then the connection details are now lost.

I would recommend an uninstall of APM 12.9  (launch the setup.exe again from the original media), and then reinstall of APM 12.9.

    Hi Gale,

Yes I have tried to uninstall APM on that server but it was not removed completely some files still there  so installation on same server was not allowed. Now i have installed it on another server.
