  • 1.  CA APM Wily Introscope - database cannot be accessed

    Hi,

     

    While connecting to CA Wily introscope,Getting the ERROR ---" The data base cannot be accessed.

    Check that SQL server is running and can be reached from subnet in which CEM is running."

    Kindly let us know how to fix this issue.

    Could you check if the db password entered in tess-db-cfg.xml got expired or locked . ?

    That message indicates the Enterprise Manager (EM) cannot access the APM Database which will be running under a Postgres or Oracle instance.

    The file EM_HOME/config/tess-db-cfg.xml has the details of the JDBC connection trying to be made to that instance ('hibernate.connection.url") with specified username ("hibernate.connection.username") and password ("hibernate.connection.password"). Please check:

    • The database instance is up
    • There no network connectivity problem between EM server and database server
    • The username has not been locked out for some reason.
