Regarding upgrade from CA PPM V13.3 to V14.2,
I would like to know if any specific upgrade action/ step required if Clarity V13.3 is integrated to any interface (Peoplesoft or Oracle)
Can you please more details about the integration, as such with upgrade you need to do the impact analysis of your integration with current system and upgraded version. Change Impact guide would be best one to do the assesment.
Suppose, Clarity is integrated with Oracle finance with compatible version.
I would like to know a generic steps & Best practice to follow while upgrade so that any interface do not get disturbed and post-upgrade it can be back on track.
It depends, to upgrade you have to stop the clarity services and there shouldn't be any read/write request at the database during upgrade. Lets say you have a interface which reads the data from CA PPM and update oracle finance. So you need to see if the tables used are still there post upgrade or not. Hence I suggested to go through the change impact guide so that you can act accordingly.
