    Hi,

i am getting the below msg while i am configuring AUTODEV server in WCC under configure tab.

Error: E190097 AUTDEV - Version mismatch. CA Workload Automation AE requires 0.0 you provided 11.3.6

are you using WCC 11.3.6 against autosys versxion 11.3.5? then you need to tell it 11.3.5 etc.

use the correct version and make sure you use a valid id and pwd to connect.application server.

Sunish, it would also help if you gave a wee bit more detail .. in your request for help.

Also have you opened a CA support ticket?

    Here is the background:

    1.       We have 1 DEV server where we have installed CCS without EEM and Autosys on same server. We will configure DEV Autosys under PRD WCC .

    2.       We have another PRD servers (1 – Primary, 2 – Shadow, 3 – Tie Breaker) under HA mode where we will install Autosys Application.

    3.       We have 2 PRD WCC /EEM machines (1 core and 1 spectator).

    Now, what i did:

    1.       I have installed Autosys and CCS without EEM on DEV server. And during Autosys install, when  it asks for EEM details, so I have provided the PRD WCC/EEM machine name.

Now when I am trying to configure DEV AUTOSYS server in PRD WCC machine under Config tab, it says that msg

Error: E190097 AUTDEV - Version mismatch. CA Workload Automation AE requires 0.0 you provided 11.3.6

We are using AUtosys R11.3.6 SP1, and WCC version is 11.3.6 (CA-WCC11.3.6-11-13) on Windows server

I don’t know what is the miss here.

Will raise the support case as well in a while.

you are better off having a DEV eEM.

your problem is you have to fix PRD eEM policies to recognize the DEV server.

you should notice that some of the polices always expect INSTANCE.* something..

How versed are you with eEM?

you have to register the DEV autosys to eEM.. etc etc etc.. same as you did for PRD.

    Good luck

Its because you don’t have the patches and the SDK update on the WCC server.

Look at RO80613. it has pre-reqs and an additional SDK update step. that should get you going

I am seeing the below screen under config tab

But under Dashboard, I can see the server status as GREEN and able to see the jobs I have created and force started the job as well which completed successfully.

    Sunish,

This was valuable information you left out. do you get the same issue with PRD Autosys application server connection?

PRD and DEV the same patch level etc?

I am building the DEV server first, so once everything is fine with DEV then only I will proceed with PRD.

I have raised the case with CA and they provide me the following:

You need to make sure you have Common Components 11.3.6 SP1 DVD12144104E.iso installed, along with WCC Incremental 3 RO77628 and support patch RO80613 for WCC. Once you install the support patch you will see an new option in the drop-down selection for 11.3.6 SP1. This will resolve your problem

However, i just like to understand, since my Autosys server  is not validated in WCC, but how come i can see that server in DASHBOARD with all the jobs defined in that server and able to execute as mentioned in the previous reply and snapshots.

That's because the SDK will allow you to make a connection to the app server and retrieve objects....the newer WCC versions will auto-detect the autosys version

My Issue got resolved after applying the patches as mentioned.

However there is 1 additional patch that i need to install and the sequence of installing patches is: UPDATE SDK -> RO77628 -> RO80613.

    Deekshit,

Is it possible that you can leave your work pedigree on your profile, like the rest of us,  and not have it as a signature?

    Thank you
