    hi Experts,

    Good Morning!

We have set up the below environment across 3 LoD VMs.

    Clarity 14.2

    MS SQL Server 2012

    Jasper Server

Integration of Jasper with Clarity 14.2 is also done.

After installation is completed, we are unable to run the OOTB jasper reports from Jasper Server (logged in as superuser as well as jasperadmin).

Both default Bean data sources (CA PPM BEAN, CA PPM DWH BEAN) connection test failed in Jasper server.

Also, when opened these OOTB reports from Jasper studio, it shows that there are compilation errors.

we also checked CSA configuration for Reporting > Jasper Server, Dataware house. Both status is Available.

But we are able to run the same OOTB reports from Clarity UI > Advanced Reporting.

When Jasper server log is checked, below is the error message.

"2015-06-20 23:13:54,039 ERROR JDBCProxyDataSourcePool,http-apr-8080-exec-9:157 - ::org.apache.jasper.JasperException: Dynamic Proxy Data Source Pool can only be used at a Tenant Level context.. Null Data Source will be returned".

we checked the MS SQL Server 2012 database.

Both niku as well as ppm_dwh databases have sample data and we are able to query them in SQL studio.

Please let us know if we are missing any steps.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Vamsee

    Hi Vamsee,

Was the Job completed successfully and are you able to see the users in jaspersoft -- advance reporting. Also can you share the screen shot from CSA under dataware house and jaspersoft.

    Regards

    Hi Vamsee,

These settings looks ok, can you share the database server details like the version and the settings you have used to set up the database server.

    hi Suman,

As discussed, all the machine and login details are mentioned in case raised in Salesforce.

After adding attribute properties of admin even for "jasperadmin" user in Jasper server UI solved one issue,

    Attribute name                Attribute value

    --------------                        ----------------

    ppmUserLanguage            en

    ppmUserUITheme             ca_ppm_default

Now reports can be run from Jasper Server UI without any issues (logged in as jasperadmin user).

But report output will be blank because "jasperadmin" will not satisfy clarity default security condition in SQL queries.

Now, final issue which is pending, Error occurs when the report is opened from Jasper Studio.

Need help on this below issue.

Thanks for sharing the document Suman!

But this document doesn't cover the pre-requisites to open the OOTB reports from Jasper studio.

    or

how to troubleshoot errors for OOTB reports opened in Jasper studio.

Our Objective: To be able to edit the copy of OOTB report in Jasper studio without any error and make changes.

    Regards,

    Vamsee

    hi All,

I came to know that OOTB jasper reports output can't be viewed in Jasper Studio from Denise.

I did some testing from Studio.

    1.    Even though we are unable to preview the OOTB report in Jasper studio, we are able to make UI modifications to it.
    2.    Also, could do minor modification to SQL and published the report to Server

So, Conclusion is that we should be able to modify OOTB reports from Jasper studio. If you edit SQL, it might show redmarks wherver there are default parameters related to clarity.

But you should be able to save it and publish and could see the changes reflected in report when accessed from Clarity app> Advanced Reporting.

So, I am marking this thread as closed.

    Regards,

    Vamsee
