  • 1.  Policy Manager authentication error

    Hi

    I am using Policy Manager 8.2 after recent upgrade from 7.1.  There is a strange issue with the new version and I suspect it could be due to incorrect configuration somewhere in the gateway. 

     

    Few minutes after a successful login, the gateway abruptly disconnects with an "Invalid user" error.  The log entry in ssm0.log file is as below.  Does anyone know what could be the issue?

     

    Error logging out admin session: Invocation of method [public abstract void com.l7tech.gateway.common.admin.AdminLogin.logout()] failed in HTTP invoker remote service at [https://securespangateway/ssg/manager/AdminLogin]; nested exception is java.lang.reflect.UndeclaredThrowableException

     

    On a related note, I am not sure why the log indicates an admin session because my user id is not configured as an admin. 

     

    Any guidance or a pointer would be much appreciated.

    I think you would get a quicker resolution if you open a support case from www.layer7tech.com/support or emailing via l7support@ca.com.
