    amswmspwnt.exe ..above file detected by antivirus as suspicious.

    Is this really suspicious? Can someone provide me the details about the file What is the purpose of using this file?

    Is it needed to be there?

    This is part of the asset management agent used for software metering.

    In fact it is the module spawning the software usage module itself if it is enabled on this computer.
