Why getting error messages ITK8001E and DBO7114E when running a Flash Image Copy against a database concurrrently processed on IMS/DC online regions
What is the reason for getting error messages ITK8001E and DBO7114E when running the DBCOPY tool with execution options
FUNCTION=COPY,FLASH=Y,AOI=Y... against a database which is concurrently used on IMS/DC online regions?
These messages indicate that the ITKSTC (IMS tools started task) has not been started previously to running the Flash DBCOPY step.
The message text for ITK8001E is "UNABLE TO FIND ITK STC (HPO4)", where "HPO4" is he default MVS subsystem being used by ITKSTC.
The message text for DBO7114E is "ERROR ISSUING IMS "DBR" COMMAND".
To allow data base to be /DBRed and /STArted during Flash DBCOPY executions, the ITKSTC must be running because it enables to communicate with the IMS/DC control regions.
