  • 1.  Issue related CA Spectrum 9.4.1 switch-over from Secnodray Server to Primary Server

    We have removed Symantec antivirus from Spectrum primary DB server yesterday & restarted the server. Now the primary DB server status is “RUNNING “ But the secondary to primary switchover is not happening. In spectrum control panel some error message is also showing. Screenshot of the same is attached herewith for your reference. Symantec AV is running in secondary server & One click server. We have removed Antivirus in primary DB server only. Kindly guide to resolve the same.

    The errors you are seeing in the VNM.OUT are unrelated to the problem you are describing. I recommend you open a support ticket, since the issue will likely need to include some indepth troublesooting before we can determine the root cause and provide a solution.

    Note: this was corrected. The .vnmrc file was inadvertently renamed to .vnmrc.vnmrc when editing in Windows. After restoring the file name

      the problem of failing over corrected itself.
